The 2011 Pop Culture Historian’s Game and Anime Awards
For the Game Award, I will admit that I can’t really give a Readers’ Choice Award because I did a very poor job of promoting the poll. As a result, only two people voted.
The Editors’ Choice Award goes to:
In the meantime, Gamespot had awarded Bethesda’s latest RPG its own Game of the Year award, as I’m sure many other websites and magazines did. They can’t all be wrong can they? It is one of the most beautifully made games ever with an unparalleled amount of stuff to do.
Now with the Readers’ Choice Award for Anime, we actually had a tie in the poll. The tie was between:

In this case, the Editors will have to differ slightly as we also have our own tie. Our tie goes to:
Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuioku-hen and to Gintama.
While Tsuioku-hen didn’t really have an opening credit sequence per se, we’ll post a noteworthy scene from the beginning of the first part:
We can almost say that we gave out genre awards for the Anime Award. Tsuioku-hen was basically the perfect drama anime while Gintama was basically the perfect comedy series. Now check both these out. Now.
